Megan Ghorashy

a little about megan​





    Megan Ghorashy was born and raised in Houston, TX, but later moved to Nebraska with her family while she attended Nebraska Wesleyan University,
     At NWU, Megan majored in Acting (B.F.A.) while minoring in English. In 2014, Megan won first place in the One Act competition for Region V of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for her play Final Moments. The play went on to be a semi-finalist for The John Cauble Award for Outstanding Short Play at the national level of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Final Moments was fully produced at Nebraska Wesleyan University in the Miller Theatre that same year. 
    In 2009, Megan got to be a part of the Write it Today program at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, NE, and got to work with playwright Kristoffer Diaz, known for his Pulitzer Prize finalist play

The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity. The monologue she wrote for this program, "Pressured", was published in the October 2009 issue of Dramatics magazine.
    Megan currently resides in New York City. In her down time, she manages her embroidery and cross stitching account, Nutmeg Creations, which you can find on Instagram under @ Nutmeg_creations91. 
    Aside from acting and writing, Megan enjoys reading, crafting, obsessing over everything Disney,  Harry Potter, and Marvel/DC related, while trying to cook and bake without burning anything.
